CLASSROOM TECHNIQUES

QUALITATIVE QUESTIONS

Ali Alousi

Qualitative questions that I use my NYC classes. I give the students copies of the questions and I put them on overhead transparencies that I project during class time. I use these to start discussions among the students (either by giving them time to work together and come up with an answer or by asking them to work on them individually). I make sure to discuss every option in the multiple choices to show why it is wrong, but, more importantly, I discuss how it may have been mistaken for the right answer.
